If you're like me, devices that rely overly on numbers rather than names or something get a bit confusing, and so it is for me with keeping track of HMD Nokia's new handsets.

The dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) Nokia 8110 4G is a smart feature phone that runs on KaiOS, and sports a 2.45-inch QVGA (240x320 pixels) curved screen display. Like on any other smartphone, the display on the Nokia 3.1 Plus is a fingerprint magnet.

The Nokia 8110 in India has been priced at Rs 5,999. The tall display operates at HD+ resolution. The screen is protected by 2.5D glass. Although, the display seems satisfactory and renders quite vivid colours and the viewing angles are decent. Thankfully, this time, we get the Helio P22 chipset which is a decent performer as the same SoC powers the Xiaomi Redmi 6.

Just like the earlier launched Nokia devices, the new Nokia 3.1 also joins the Android One family. We clicked a few initial shots and we must say that this device shows possible chances of overpowering some of the best cameras in the segment.

Rear camera: The new Nokia smartphone comes with a dual camera system that includes a 13MP primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with LED flash support. And now with Adaptive Battery, Android 9 Pie uses deep learning to understand patterns in phone usage and prioritises battery power for your favourite apps. The front camera is a 20MP unit. One can track the updates from Nokia India's official Facebook page. It offers a solid build quality, a classy design and a stock Android experience with the right specifications sheet.

- HMD is touting a two-day battery life with the Nokia 3.1 Plus The devices houses a 3,500mAh battery capacity which is larger compared to the battery inside the Nokia 6.1 and 5.1 Plus. Still, HMD Global could offer more details with regards to the pricing and availability of the smartphones at the launch.
