Android 9 Pie is now rolling out to the OnePlus 6

The beta testing is over – the OnePlus 6 is getting a stable Android 9.0 Pie release. In fact, the press release specifically mentions that the update contains gesture navigation, gaming mode 3.0 and a customizable Do Not Disturb feature. Moreover, OxygenOS 9.0 has added custom Accent color feature, allowing you to customize the color of the OnePlus 6's UI as per the choice. Also, users will not be able to get the update, as OnePlus is randomly sending the update to the users.

Original article, September 21, 2018 (09:55AM ET): The beta version of Android Pie has been available on the OnePlus 6 for a while now, but it looks like the Chinese brand is finally ready to launch the finished product.

In a blog post, OnePlus specified this over-the-air update will be a staged rollout and that, initially, only a limited number of users will get it.

The software update brings "Adaptive Battery" feature, which takes stock of the apps you use the most and prioritises battery usage for those.
