Clarke, who plays Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, posted an Instagram photo on Wednesday showing off a new tattoo on her right wrist of three dragons flying in silhouette.

Considering Game of Thrones is officially ending next year, it's understandable that its stars-some of who have been on the show for nearly a decade-would want to commemorate the series in a personal way. And whadda ya know?

With a title to the highly coveted Iron Throne, her character used the help of her dragons to win supporters and eventually cross the sea to Westeros, where her path collided with Jon Snow, who, in a turn of events, has also been revealed to secretly be a Targaryen.

The 31-year-old shared the picture to her Instagram with the caption: "MOD 4 LYFE!" The tattoo shows a dire wolf with the words "the pack survives".

"Game of Thrones is all about theories". So the more we can conjure up, the better it is. The more exciting it makes it, the more unpredictable it makes it.

Clarke isn't the only Game of Thrones star to ink up.

"But yeah, definitely that tattoo was probably not a good idea, because everyone thought that I'd given away the end".

Clarke previously told a reporter she was planning on getting the tattoo back in May. "But I haven't. It's a quote from last season".

So it's only fitting that with the show coming to a close in 2019, now Clarke has made her love for her fictitious dragon spawn "ink official" for all time.
