Mac Miller died long before paramedics were called

Recounting the exact moments he found out about Mac's death, Pasternak added, "One of the ladies who works with me walked in with kind of a blank look on her face and held up her phone and there was a news release [about Miller's death]".

A distraught friend can be heard in a 911 call desperately begging emergency services to hurry to Mac Miller's house, where the late rapper was found unresponsive last Friday.

The site also obtained 911 audiotape of male caller summoning help last Friday afternoon, pleading with the operator to "Please hurry".

LAPD and Fire officials pronounced Miller dead after finding his body in his bedroom.

A full toxicology report will not be finalized for four to six weeks, meaning despite the preliminary conclusions of authorities, Miller's death certificate still states his cause of death as "deferred". But it wasn't until September 7 at noon that Miller's body was discovered in his San Fernando Valley house, meaning he was "was dead for many hours before his body was discovered" by paramedics and professionals.

Miller's body has been transported to Pittsburgh, where his funeral will take place.

The playground was a huge part of Mac's childhood and even inspired the name of his debut album, Blue Slide Park.

'He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans.

"God f- dammit. You were such an incredible person", Malone wrote. "Great man. I loved him for real".
