Ariana Grande is speaking out for the first time about the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller.

"Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26", Miller's family said in a statement obtained by Rolling Stone at the time. The message comes accompanied by a brief video of her filming him while the two of them are laughing. The former couple, who collaborated on the 2013 hit "The Way", dated for at least a year-and-a-half before breaking up earlier this year. The day after his death, Ari posted a touching photo of the late rapper, but she hasn't spoken out until now.

Sharing support for those suffering with addiction, he wrote: "I am here... and I will continue to be here, for you".
