JPMorgan's Dimon backtracks after saying he could beat Trump

"I think I could beat Trump", Dimon said early Wednesday during an event at his bank's NY headquarters, according to media accounts.

In the remarks, first reported by the business network CNBC, Mr. Dimon also said he is just as tough as Mr. Trump and smarter than the President. "I'm not running for president", the statement reads.

And he got in one last dig, noting that he earned his money, unlike Trump, who was given $1 million in startup capitol from his father. "It wasn't a gift from Daddy".
