After being shamed for working at Trader Joe's, Geoffrey Owens took the high road and said he wasn't ashamed for making an honest living.

After a photo of the former "Cosby Show" actor working as a clerk at Trader Joes went viral, fellow actors and an array of others in the entertainment industry showed their support for his work ethic. He consults with his friend Commander Adams (Owens) on what could be causing his current symptoms and what his next course of action should be.

Filmmaker and actor Tyler Perry caught Owens' initial appearance on "Good Morning America" and in his own interview with Robin Roberts said he was impressed by Owens' hustle.

On "New Orleans", Owens will will appear in the upcoming season's sixth episode playing Cmdr. NCIS: New Orleans season 5 is slated to premiere on September 25 on CBS.
