Rain washed out the entire weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the final race before the playoffs was moved to today.

The Xfinity Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway will use the same aerodynamic package used at this track last season that produced a record number of race leaders (8) and lead changes (16). This has resulted in the start of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series being delayed. This almost became an issue in last year's Brickyard 400 after a one-hour, 47-minute rain delay took place during the race.

More rain is forecast for the Indianapolis area and could for the races to be reschedule to Monday.
