Ariana Grande Reportedly Played Pivotal Role in Mac Miller's Sobriety

Grande subsequently disabled comments on her Instagram before posting a simple photo of Miller sitting on grass looking up at the camera. He said Grande was "incredible" in her support while he tried to get sober, calling him and asking what she could do to help him in the process. "She was a f***ing G to him".

Shane added: "The way that Mac partied was not healthy, but I gotta tell you man, there was no one in his life more ready to go to the wall for him when it came to him being sober".

'This little girl was unbelievably involved and helpful to him being healthy. A friend claims that Grande wanted him to be healthy more than anything else.

As we previously reported, Mac Miller passed away this past weekend at the age of 26.

Miller died at his Studio City, Calif., home on Friday (Sept. 7).

The 25-year-old singer spoke out via Twitter following Miller's initial arrest, responding directly to one of the trolls who believed it was her fault the rapper - who had always been vocal about his struggles with sobriety and depression - ran into trouble with the law.

The LA coroner said the cause of Miller's death is yet to be determined and that a post-mortem examination will be carried out.
