House of Fraser's website is down and it is not now accepting customer orders.

As a result, the retailer has cancelled all online orders and is refunding customers.

The high street chain was bought-out by Sports Direct last week after it went into administration.

This will be good news for the employees of House of Fraser, as it looks likely that most - if not all - of their jobs will saved.

It has since emerged that Mike Ashley has bought all the UK House of Fraser outlets and according to Fora.ie, the chain's appointed administrator, EY, confirmed that the £90 million deal includes the Dundrum Town Centre outlet.

Beleaguered British department store House of Fraser is cancelling all online orders and will be refunding thousands of customers potentially millions of pounds after a dispute with its warehouse operator held up deliveries. XPO Logistics and Sports Direct could not be reached for comment. "I paid for delivery and the money was taken out of my account".

One said on Twitter: "Absolutely disgraceful".

"We have taken the decision to cancel and refund all orders that have not already been sent to customers", the department store said on Facebook. Not 1 email concerning delivery or info and now order cancelled and you say email in a few days! "However, your order will be delivered as soon as possible".

House of Fraser's website was taken offline on Wednesday amid the payment dispute with XPO Logistics, which operates two warehouses, in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire, that handle the retailer's deliveries to stores as well as customers.
