HMD Global will be introducing new devices along with Nokia 6.1 Plus at an event in India on August 21.

You may not have heard the Nokia 6.1 aka Nokia 6 (2018) all that much of late, but that is because it is flying under the radar. The only surprising thing is that it was highly expected that Nokia would formally announce the new handset at IFA 2018 at the end of the month, rather than a week beforehand. Now, both the variants have received up to a Rs. 1,500 price cut in India. Nokia 6.1 Plus is revamped version of the Nokia X6, and also comes with Android One branding for the global markets. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, clubbed with two variants - 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB onboard storage.

Nokia 6.1 Plus has also been certified in other markets like Indonesia and Thailand, thus hinting at its launch in these markets as well.

Manigault Newman has more than audio recordings
A conversation she had with President Trump in the wake of her firing, in which he appears to be clueless about her removal. That's according to a person with direct knowledge of what Manigault Newman has described as a multimedia "treasure trove".

Last month, an alleged user guide of the Nokia 6.1 Plus was spotted on Nokia India's website along with SAR details.

The highlight of Nokia 6.1 Plus is the 5.8-inch LCD display with a notch, and resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. On the optical front, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera sensor with an LED flash. It is backed up by a 3000mAh battery and connectivity options include hybrid Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB Type C, 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, and USB Type-C port. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel sensor along with an f/2.0 aperture. Given the limited memory and storage, it is rather natural that HMD Global has pre-installed the device with Android 8.1 Oreo Go edition which in-line with the company's policy of providing pure Android experience to its devices.
