Remember how Michelle Wolf had her own show on Netflix, titled "The Break With Michelle Wolf", that premiered nearly immediately after the Correspondents Dinner?

Will you miss The Break and/or The Joel McHale Show?

Deadline reported on Friday that Wolf's Netflix series had been canceled only about three months after its first episode aired.

Then, months later on her now-canceled Netflix show, Wolf compared Immigration and Customs Enforcement to the Islamic terrorist group known as ISIS. A new season of David Letterman's "My Next Guest Needs No Introduction" is in the works, as are new shows from Hasan Minhaj and Norm Macdonald. It remains to be seen whether the cancellations represent a retreat from the variety-talk format that the streaming service has been making an aggressive push into.

But The Break had its finale on July 29 after a weekly ten-episode run. "I think she's very resourceful", Wolf said at the dinner.

Wolf, a comedian and Daily Show alum who earned plenty of buzz for her controversial hosting gig at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in April, began hosting The Break in May on the streaming service, offering political and pop-culture commentary with an irreverent edge.

"I actually really like Sarah". She burns facts and uses the ash to create a flawless smokey eye, ' the comedian added. "Like, maybe she's born with it, maybe it's lies". Wolf said. "Is it Sarah Sanders?" "I know... Aunt Coulter".

Many, including President Donald Trump, found the roast too vulgar, and the White House Correspondents' Association later denounced Wolf's monologue.

"Abortion - I salute you!"
