On Wednesday, Forbes published an article stating that Diablo 3 would be coming to the Switch with exclusive content before the end of the year.

Diablo 3 has been rumored for the Nintendo Switch for months, and while we're still waiting for an official announcement, the game's existence has been leaked, along with some other details.

It will be called Diablo III: Eternal Collection, bringing together the main game and both Reaper of Souls and Rise of the Necromancer expansions.

Even since its release in 2012, Diablo III has still remained a hugely popular title across PC and consoles, and it seems as though that Nintendo Switch owners may be able to look forward to slaying demons with their friends later this year.

Overall, Diablo 3 coming to the Switch isn't that big of a surprise.

Sounds like someone may have pushed the button early on it. Word on the internet states the announcement was supposed to be made tomorrow.

As for the other "Diablo" projects Blizzard teased, we'll likely hear more about those during BlizzCon 2018, which takes place November 2-3 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. It will feature all of the content previously released for the game, and let you play with up to four players locally on the switch, via ad hoc wireless play or through Nintendo Switch Online.
