"But she gladly, spitefully, wrecked her husbands' directives to make him look foolish".

Neither contained outwardly embarrassing language.

But current and former Trump aides say the practice has been commonplace under the billionaire real estate magnate who frequently required NDAs in his business. "Why did you do that?'" Manigault Newman writes.

Ms Newman responds: "General Kelly came to me and said that you guys wanted me to leave".

Just two days ago, Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., told ABC News' "This Week" that the president's words on racism "ring hollow".

She was sacked from office for allegedly treating the White House executive auto service "like a personal uber". Apparently, the incident only brought the Trump's administration's Office of Public Liaison under further scrutiny.

In a book being released Tuesday, Manigault Newman said she had heard of the tape's existence. The official declined to specify what specific legal steps were being considered. Trump himself used the tactic in his life as a private businessman and the question of whether he's taping his conversations in the Oval Office arose previous year when he suggested there might be recordings of an encounter with former FBI Director James Comey (none ever materialized).

Ms Manigault Newman went on to say in an NBC interview that the taped call shows Mr Trump "doesn't even know what's happening in his White House".

Is recording in the Situation Room a crime?

Liverpool refer Salah to police over alleged phone use while driving
A man identified by witnesses in the video as Salah, 26, is seen in the driver's seat of a white auto waiting in traffic. He posted an Instagram story of him hugging a young Liverpool fan who invaded the pitch against West Ham at the weekend.

The U.S. dollar tumbled more than 5 percent against Turkish lira on Tuesday, falling to 6.4591 after opening the day at 6.8839. The cycle is, in the jargon, "late stage" and so any sign of danger will be an excuse to sell assets that appear at all risky.

Turkish lira edges up from record low on central bank pledge
It's all part of an action plan announced by Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak late Sunday to respond to market tumult. China's yuan dipped a little more than 0.3 percent on Monday, adding to the losses the currency has sustained this year.

Manigault Newman also alleges that Trump allies tried to buy her silence after she left the White House, offering her $15,000 a month to accept a "senior position" on his 2020 re-election campaign along with a stringent nondisclosure agreement.

"I was not signed to a non-disclosure agreement to hush me up", Lotter said.

When U.S. President Donald Trump was attacking Barack Obama and saying the former commander-in-chief wasn't born in the United States, he asserted that it was all political.

After the recordings were made public, Trump lashed out her on Twitter, calling her "Wacky Omarosa".

Trump tweeted that he had received a call from the producer of "The Apprentice" assuring him "there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a bad and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa". But she insisted she "never signed that draconian NDA that they presented to me when I walked into the White House". The President has brushed aside presidential norms and his advisers have touted his unconventional style as a breath of fresh air.

LTo the many dozens of #journalists who called me, questioning @OMAROSA claim in her new book that @POTUS @realDonaldTrump took a note from me, put it in his mouth and ate it.I saw NO such thing and am shocked anyone would take this seriously.

"People in the White House hated her", Trump wrote. She said "the very idea" that an employee would secretly record inside the Situation Room "shows a blatant disregard for our national security". The issues were related to her use of government vehicles and "money issues and other things", Kelly can be heard saying.

"Just having him call me out of my name, call me a lowlife, say that I'm not intelligent, this is what he does when it comes to African-Americans", she said.

"Very explosive this weekend when it was turned out, or when she revealed, that she had been taping recordings inside the Situation Room", Mullaney said Monday.
