Respawn’s Star Wars game is called Jedi: Fallen Order - out holiday 2019

During today's EA Play presentation, Respawn CEO Vince Zampella revealed the name of the team's forthcoming Star Wars project, and it's known as Jedi Fallen Order. The game will be set in the years in between cinematic Episodes III and IV, while the title implies sometime after the Jedi massacre of Order 66. Zampella said that the game will be out during the 2019 holiday season, so you can expect a much bigger showing at next year's E3.

It was previously announced that the game will be a third-person action/adventure title. However, it's COD 4 that's most relevant here - its single-player campaign is one of the best examples of how to blend high-action gameplay and story. There is no word yet on who players will be controlling in the game, but fingers crossed we'll see some familiar faces like Obi-Wan Kenobi (mainly so we can get a Ewan McGregor voice cameo).
