The suit, which seeks unspecified damages, claims that Rodgers met the 51-year-old R&B star after a concert in San Antonio last March when she was 19.

"During the course of their, approximately one-year relationship, defendant, R. Kelly, routinely engaged in intimidation, mental, verbal and sexual abuse, during and after sexual contact", the lawsuit said, adding that Kelly's conduct "was created to humiliate, embarrass, intimidate and shame Plaintiff". R. Kelly is one of pop music's bestselling artists, with hits including "Ignition", "I Believe I Can Fly", and "Bump N' Grind".

We have learned that 20-year-old Faith Rodgers has sued R. Kelly for false imprisonment, sexual battery and not disclosing an STD!

Weeks later, Kelly arranged for Rodgers to travel to NY for one of his concerts and put her up in a hotel, she says.

Representatives for Kelly did not immediately respond to requests for comment Tuesday.

A Chicago concert was pulled this month following protests, and Spotify removed his songs from their playlists as part of a new policy against "hateful conduct".

Rodgers also claims that she was contacted by a relative of a different woman who had relations with R. Kelly, and told her that she should get tested for herpes.

NBCUniversal May Drop WWE Smackdown Live From Its TV Schedule

Rodgers filed a criminal complaint with the Dallas Police Department in April and was advised to record a phone call with the crooner, which she hoped would see him admit to knowingly spreading an STD. Time's Up has neglected to speak with any of the women who welcome R. Kelly's support, and it has rushed to judgment without the facts.

Rodgers claims Kelly also routinely locked her in a van. He then forced himself on her in the hotel, and initiated both oral and vaginal sex.

Kelly and his lawyers have denied all allegations.

"He goes on to tell me that he raises five women". "So I was just waiting for it to be over", Rodgers said. "I love you because you remind me of them'".

The Time's Up campaign took aim at R. Kelly late last month over allegations that he has sexually abused women. They communicated over phone in the months following before Kelly flew her out to NY.

Faith claims she discovered that she had contracted herpes. But Rodgers said she "submitted", more than consented.
