Samsung Intros Sunrise Gold & Burgundy Red Galaxy S9

In a move that has become expected nowadays, Samsung has announced new color options for the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. Listening to the wishes of customers, Samsung has managed to increase their sales.

Red seems to be the smartphone color of spring.

The India launch event for these handsets is slated for May 21, Samsung has started sending out launch invites of new smartphones which are touted to have Infinity display. However, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star (SM-G885F/DS) is rumored to launch in various worldwide markets as well and not only in China as it happened with various A-series Galaxy handsets that Samsung released in the past.

The Sunrise Gold edition will be released in several markets, including Germany, Chile, Mexico, Vietnam and Australia.

Performance on last year's Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 was OK, but it used an outdated chipset and wasn't as powerful as some other tablets on the market. The Burgundy Red edition will be the most hard to find as it will be available in just a few days in China and South Korea. But as we all saw, this wasn't the case, instead, the Korean tech giant concentrated on phones, namely the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. According to Samsung, this will "wrap the smartphone in a tranquil glow and glimmer" while creating a feeling of both "vibrancy and calm". As for the Burgundy Red option, Samsung says it sports a "restrained gloss [finish] for added density" and is "one of the deepest red colors available". Its sophisticated look is targeted at consumers who want a stylistic touch of high fashion on their mobile device.
