SuRie is an actress and singer who is no stranger to the Eurovision Song Contest, appearing as a backing singer for Loïc Nottet in 2015 and Blanche at Eurovision 2017.

He was introduced to the programme by his Swedish wife, Viveca Paulin and went to see the contest in Copenhagen four years ago when Conchita Wurst won. "I have a strong Finnish and global team with me, together we're able to make great things happen".

The 50-year-old has flown to Lisbon where this year's event is being held and he attended the opening ceremony on Sunday night.

Her musical career started early as a child soloist, performing for the likes of Prince Charles in iconic British venues such as The Royal Albert Hall and St. Paul's Cathedral.
