Arsenal want to sound out Juventus manager Max Allegri as part of a recruitment process that will now accelerate significantly as the main European club seasons reach their conclusion. According to sources close to the 50-year-old, the air conditioning he has in mind involves selling "four, five or six" senior players to make room for a similar number of high-quality replacements.

Gap year travelling south-east Asia (we're not sure what his plans are, to be honest, this is just a guess): 10%.

Allegri isn't short of offers as he ponders his next move.

With Juventus on the verge of making yet more history, the team's coach might just be looking overseas for more challenges.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Spanish head coach is set to be ditched after the former FC Barcelona manager asked for a hefty wage to succeed Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.

Chelsea has endured a horrendous season so far sitting fifth on the Premier League table and are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League.

Another option that Allegri has apparently been considering is doing what all the cool managers have done of late: take a sabbatical. He could follow in those footsteps again if Conte leaves Chelsea after a disappointing season with the London club.

Paris Saint-Germain appeals to a manager who enjoys, and has prospered, handling problematic characters like Neymar.

Massimiliano Allegri insists he will sit down with the Juventus board at the end of the season and start planning for next season, amid reports linking him with the manager's job at Arsenal. "We need a clear understanding of how to improve again. Of course, we feel like we've already won it but we want to conquer that last single point that will allow us to celebrate".

A big, proven figure like Allegri would likely bring greater staff numbers and salary expectations but would represent less of a risk in a Premier League that is now packed with numerous main "galactico" managerial figures in world football.
