In Nintendo's filings for the fiscal year ended March 2018 the games-maker reveals it sold 102.31 million copies of games across Switch, Wii U and 3DS both digitally and in-store, which strongly contributed to the $3.7 billion (1.055 trillion yen) earned during the period. Now we just have to see how well the service holds up when it launches.

Crazy Justice is the latest addition to the world of Battle Royale genre after the hits like Fortnite and PUBG, but what makes this game different from others is the ability to cross-play between Nintendo Switch And Xbox One. But, interestingly, not all games will require a subscription for online multiplayer.

Nintendo says it will reveal 10 more of these NES games - as well as more details on how cloud saving will work - closer to the service's launch, in September. "3" will be joined by "Donkey Kong", "Ice Climber", "The Legend of Zelda", "Mario Bros.", "Soccer", "Super Mario Bros." and "Tennis".

But it's the online play for NES games that really caught my eye.

The Nintendo Switch Online service will give you access to NES games.

The service will cost $3.99 per month, $7.99 for three months or $19.99 for a whole year - but we knew that already.

The Nintendo Switch Online smartphone application can be used to enhance the online experience for compatible games through voice chat and other features. This is great for people who want to retrieve their data if they lose, break or purchase an additional Nintendo Switch system.

However, you can share the Nintendo Switch Online features across all the Nintendo Accounts in a family group by purchasing a family membership.

Everyone (including subscribers, of course), will get system software and game updates, use of the Nintendo eShop, the friend list, sharing screenshots on social media, and parental controls.
