JetBlue plane windshield shatters on way to Tampa, Florida

A JetBlue flight destined for Tampa was diverted to Fort Lauderdale on Sunday.

Michael Paluska (Michael Paluska), reporter, WFTS, was in flight during an emergency and took pictures of flight attendants, responding to the problem.

The JetBlue worker tried to calm any worries by saying that the passengers were never in any grave danger.

The airline said the damage was just to one of the outer layers of the cockpit windscreen.

'There's multiple, multiple layers in the windscreen and it's the outer layer that shattered.

A JetBlue airplane made an emergency landing from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. after the cockpit window cracked. The flight landed safely at approximately 1:00 p.m. local time.

The airport landed about 1 p.m. and the passengers had been unloaded and moved to some other plane to continue onto the destination. "Customers have been accommodated onto another air craft".
