It is being speculated that Samsung will manufacture the Galaxy X in limited numbers at first so it can gauge the demand.

Tech blog MSP has spotted the Galaxy S9 model (SM-G960F with Exynos 9810 chipset) with Android Oreo 8.1 on popular benchmarking site Geekbench, confirming Samsung is testing the new software on the device. While this might not look very encouraging for Samsung, keep in mind that the phone didn't launch until the very end of the quarter. Although the South Korean major has gone on record to say the Galaxy X is more than just a gimmick, the company has so far stayed clear of announcing a launch window.

The company is reported to launch four new smartphones under Galaxy J-series that will take the leverage of Infinity Display. The sales figures would suffer and the eyes are now focused on the Galaxy S10. This is done so that the Galaxy X can be the centrepiece for Samsung's MWC 2019 plans. As per a South Korean newspaper, the Bell, the device may be called Samsung Galaxy X and the company is reportedly targeting a late February or an early March release. On a serious note, Samsung has apparently asked partners to start the supply of parts for the Galaxy X by November this year.

The feed remained down for "some minutes after the goal", but it was too late to change the decision because the game had already restarted, he explained.

Apart from this, there are smartphones from Infinix, InFocus, iVooMI and more that are offering the new display at a different price point.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy X is rumored to flaunt no less than three 3.5-inch OLED displays, which is capable to fold out creating a massive (almost tablet-sized) smartphone. The device would be foldable, of course, and going by purported images of the said phone, it is also likely to have an all-screen and no-bezel design on the front.
