Robby Anderson's Arrest Warrant Lifted; New Court Date Set for January Arrest

The attorney for Robby Anderson says he received "no notice" Anderson was to appear in court on Tuesday, and called the subsequent warrant for Anderson's arrest "craziness".

The court originally said that Anderson and his attorney had failed to appear in a Florida court Tuesday for an arraignment hearing on a reckless driving charge from January.

After a felony charge of threatening harm to a public servant was dropped last month, Anderson's case was moved to county court and issued a new case number, which prompted the confusion.

Troubled Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson is in trouble again.

Cops said at the time that Anderson was driving his Jaguar 105 miles per hour in a 45-mph zone, failed to stay in a single lane and did not immediately pull over for police. He has since seen those felony charges dropped except the reckless driving citation.

The appearance stemmed from Anderson's January arrest for reckless driving.

Other charges against Anderson were declined due to insufficient evidence, authorities said.

Anderson was also arrested last offseason after a concert in Miami and charged with felony resisting arrest with violence and obstruction of police.

Anderson enjoyed a breakout season with the Jets in 2017, his second year in the NFL.

Anderson set career highs with 63 catches, 941 yards receiving and seven touchdowns in his second National Football League season.
