In a video that has gone viral on social media, Tendulkar can be seen playing cricket with some youngsters and also got some selfies clicked with the enthusiasts on the streets. The legend, who has played in all the fancy cricket stadiums of the world, was seen hitting the ball at a Metro construction site like any regular cricket-loving guy of the country.

It must have been a shocker then, for unassuming fans playing next to a Colaba-Bandra Metro line-3 barricade in Mumbai, when Sachin Tendulkar himself walked out of his vehicle and joined them to play some late-night gully cricket on the streets of Bandra.

It seems like the IPL fever is making Sachin, who retired in 2013, really miss the field.

In the video, Sachin Tendulkar gets down from a auto before coming up to a group of youngsters and bats on to a few deliveries.

We have seen our master blaster Sachin Tendulkar playing cricketing shots on the ground several times but it is rare to see the Bharat Ratna playing street cricket with young boys. He then proceeds to the barricade-stump to join the game. He seems to be playing with a few employees of a hotel, and while doing that, he was also recognised by a person travelling in a auto.

Tendulkar is now serving as the mentor of Mumbai Indians (MI), the Indian Premier League franchise for whom he played between 2008 and 2013.

Sachin's association with the IPL lasted 78 games where he scored 2,334 runs.
