When the Thottapillys had not shown up on the afternoon of April 8, Soumya's relatives called the San Jose Police Department, Officer Gina Teeporten told India-West.

The office also said the body of an adult female found in the Eel River on Friday has been identified as 38-year-old Soumya Thottapilly.

Searchers yesterday found the body of Siddhant Thottapilly, the last to be found after the family of four went missing.

The search and rescue teams in the United States recovered the bodies of two more members of the Indian American family that had gone missing while travelling from OR to California about 10 days ago.

Search teams are continuing to search for the missing family members and their vehicle, which is believed to still be submerged somewhere in the Eel River.

The vehicle was about 4 to 6 feet beneath the water, but visibility was poor and the vehicle was covered in sediment from the river current.

Five bodies were found March 26 near Mendocino, a few days after Washington state authorities began investigating the Harts for possible child neglect. They had been traveling from Portland, Ore., and were supposed to meet with relatives in San Jose the following day before going back to their home in Santa Clarita, Calif., just outside Los Angeles.

Sandeep worked as a vice-president with the Union Bank and lived in Los Angeles with his family.

Sandeep and family was in a maroon Honda Pilot with a California registration plate (7MMX138) and had last got in touch with their family in Surat on April 5. Investigators said that vehicle may have been intentionally driven off the cliff.

"Once the body was recovered it was identified as being Siddhant Thottapilly, the remaining missing member of the Thottapilly family". Authorities say they believe the crash was intentional.

"Searchers subsequently recovered the bodies of Sandeep Thottapilly and Saachi Thottapilly from inside the vehicle", the Sheriff Office said adding that the autopsies are expected to be performed this week as part of the coroner's investigation into the incident.

The California Highway Patrol reported April 6 that a witness had seen a vehicle go over the side of a steep embankment on US-101, south of Dora Creek in Northern Mendocino County.
