Two People Dead in Parmer County Plane Crash

According to ABC affiliate WVAW, firefighters would only confirm that authorities are investigating a plane crash.

A ground search was conducted, and a DPS aircraft located the plane around eight miles west of Friona.

One person is dead after a small, private airplane crashed into the mountainside northwest of Crozet on Sunday night.

The DPS identified the victims as Clayton Sides, 25, of Dimmitt and Thomas Jacob Hefner, 25 of Bovina. A final report, she said, could take up to two years.
