Police arrest 2 after assault and robbery sends victim to hospital

Authorities have taken a 60-year-old man into custody in connection to a series of recent armed robberies at Norfolk pharmacies.

Syracuse police say they charged two city residents with robbing a man Saturday afternoon on North Salina Street.

Police said the robbery occurred around 8:30 p.m. on April 10 at Sun Tan City, a tanning salon located at 105 Topsham Fair Mall Road.

"Once they had the money, the suspects ran from the scene", stated the news release.

Officers have issued warrants for two other suspects who were in Forrest's auto.

The man was wearing dark trousers, a black hooded sweatshirt and tan boots, a store employee told police.

The serial number of the firearm is still intact and police investigation into the gun's ownership and origin is ongoing.

Police said the victim, a man, 22, was dropped off at the hospital, suffering from a gunshot wound. Police say both suspect then attacked the victim, stole her belongings and fled in a vehicle.

In Missoula County Justice Court Monday, the judge set bail at $250,000 after prosecutors told the court Antill is a flight risk.
