Xiaomi launches Black Shark gaming smartphone

Xiaomi is really working hard towards the launch of their Mi 6X unit which is set to take the baton from the mid-range Mi 5X from past year. The Xiaomi Mi A1 is backed by a 3,080 mAh battery and offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Global Positioning System as connectivity options.

If Xiaomi follows the same pattern as a year ago, it'll launch the Mi 6X as the Mi A2 in India and replace MIUI with pure Android courtesy Google's Android One software. The source has not, however, revealed the exact specs of the Xiaomi Mi A2 but we already know the leaked specs of Mi 6X aka Mi A2.

The main highlight of the Xiaomi Mi 6X will be its cameras. It offers 6GB/ 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB/ 128GB UFS 2.1 of internal storage, which can not be expandable any further. The company has sent out invites for an upcoming phone launch and it is being speculated that it will be the Mi 6X. Xiaomi has teased a Blue colour variant of the Mi 6X showing off the back panel of the handset.

The Xiaomi Black Shark is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and Adreno 630 GPU, with either 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and either 64 GB or 128 GB of native storage, depending on the model. The Mi A2 will come in three variants - 4GB RAM with 32GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage.

The Black Shark phone is built with a 5.99-inch FullHD display possessing a 21:9 aspect ratio.

For those unaware, the Mi A1 is actually a re-branded Mi 5X, with the only difference being that the former runs stock Android whereas the latter runs MIUI.
