As expected, it is another premium flagship smartphone that boasts of premium specs including ultra-high sensitive dual cameras that are capable of 4K HDR display and movie recording. "It has 13 megapixels front camera with 1/ 3,06" Exmor RS sensor, 22mm wide-angle and f/2.0 aperture. The "Premium" branded Xperia phones are known for their one main highlight, the 4K HDR display.

The display of the smartphone is a 5.6-inch 4K HDR unit that promises 11% more viewable area and 30% more brightness than previous Sony 4K HDR offerings. The Xperia XZ2 Premium has a Motion Eye dual rear camera setup with one 19-megapixel camera with a 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor, 1.22-micron pixels, and an f/1.8 aperture, as well as one 12-megapixel black and white camera with the same Exmor RS sensor, 1.55-micron pixels, and an f/1.6 aperture. Now, the Japanese technology major has silently added another smartphone to the lineup in the form of Xperia XZ2 Premium. A Sony Mobile spokesperson told us: "Given the strength of the existing Xperia XZ range, specifically the XZ2, XZ2 Compact, and XZ Premium, there are now no plans for widespread ranging of the handset in the United Kingdom and Ireland". Plus, whether you're watching a blockbuster or a video on YouTube, Xperia XZ2 Premium uses Sony's BRAVIA® TV technology, X-Reality™ for mobile, to up-convert content to near High Dynamic Range (HDR) for more cinematic contrast, color, and clarity. The smartphone can be seen as Sony's last ditch effort to stay competitive against the likes of Samsung and Apple in the premium smartphone segment. There are features like Smart Stamina, Stamina Mode, Qnovo Adaptive Charging, Quick Charge 3.0 and Qi Wireless Charging. IP65/68 water resistance are on board, so you don't have to worry about getting the phone wet. The phone will get Android 8.1 Oreo and also will get Android 9.0 P upgrade apart from several qualifying Android P phones. The XZ2 Premium also has dual front-facing speakers, which the company claims are its loudest Xperia speakers ever, with S-Force Front Surround and Hi-res Audio. It also bears the 3.5mm audio jack. It'll be available globally, but pricing - and any carrier support in the United States - will be confirmed closer to release. Naturally that's likely to come with an increase in price, but it's a small price to pay if the standard XZ2 just won't do. Tell us down in the comments.
