John Stamos and Wife Caitlin McHugh Welcome First Child, a Boy

"Full House" icon John Stamos and his wife, Caitlin McHugh, have welcomed their first child together and the actor honored his late father by giving the boy his name, Billy.

The Fuller House actor took to Instagram on Sunday to reveal the happy news, sharing a stunning black and white shot of the newborn enjoying skin-to-skin contact with his father. "Welcome Billy Stamos (named after my father) #NotJustanUncleAnymore #Overjoyed", he wrote on the social media platform.

Congratulations are in order for John Stamos and wife Caitlin McHugh.

He captioned the post: "From now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son".

The famed Fuller House uncle has had a whirlwind romance with McHugh, 32, whom he married in February 2018.

The couple had announced in December that they were expecting. "I'll probably just do all that stuff", he joked. "So I called her parents to ask, and it was like, 'You better!'"

"We have the same morals and the same values, that all clicked nicely. I think John is going to be a great dad but of course he knows I'm here for him should he need any but I think him and Caitlin have it covered", Loughlin told E!

This is John's second marriage - he was previously Wednesday to actress Rebecca Romijn from 1998 to 2005. Every day I say, 'You're doing so great, you're doing so great'.
