Mitchell left the game briefly after Corey Brewer awkwardly stepped on his left foot, but the rookie was able to finish out Sunday's contest.

The Utah Jazz guard is set to play in Game 2 on Wednesday after the MRI on his left foot came back negative, league sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes. After about a minute he was subbed off again as he was visibly in pain as he ran back on defense after burying a jumper.

The good news? Mitchell's backed it up with his play on the court, leading the Jazz in scoring with 20.5 points per game and ranking third in assists per game with 3.7. "Think I just stubbed my toe".

He is not expected to miss any time and is expected to be in the lineup when the Thunder and Jazz tip off Game 2 on Wednesday.

He finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds in Oklahoma City's 116-108 victory.

Donovan Mitchell is not about to let injury kill his vibe during his first career trip to the postseason.

The Thunder dealt with their own injury concern.
