Assumption Clinton would Triumph a Element in Re Search — Former FBI Mind

Largest revelations from former FBI Director James Comey's new book "A Elevated Loyalty". Comey wrote that he thought of calling for the appointment of a special prosecutor.

Since losing the election, Clinton has blamed Comey, in part, for her loss.

Presidential historian Jon Meacham commented James Comey had evolved from being the left's "bête noire" to its "hero" during an appearance on MSNBC Friday.

The belief that Clinton couldn't lose is the only way to make sense of what a lot of people said and did in October of 2016.

While Comey doesn't divulge the information, many speculate whether the document relates to Lynch's infamous "tarmac meeting" with former President Bill Clinton just days before her Justice Department exonerated Hillary Clinton of any wrongdoing.

But months later, just days before the November election, he publicly disclosed that the Federal Bureau of Investigation had reopened the Clinton probe to review additional emails that had been recovered.

In the latest case, the Thottapilly family had taken a road trip from their home in Santa Clarita, Calif., to OR for spring break. Authorities searching for a family whose SUV plunged into a Northern California river have found the body of a woman.

In Comey's mind, bending procedure and announcing he was investigating a candidate was an acceptable price to pay to avoid the opposite: years of hearings and delegitimization that would surely follow Clinton's expected election.
In his new book, Comey admits he has some regrets about Clinton's private email server investigation.

In March 2017, Comey confirmed the FBI was investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Trump, who has accused Comey of leaking information to the press and lying about their interactions, initially praised Comey at a campaign rally in MI on October 31, 2016. She said she was "surprised" when the criminal investigation was later made public that The Times did not make a bigger deal of the fact that the paper had been right.

Specifically, Comey pointed to the verbiage he used at that July 2016 press conference to describe Clinton's actions while she was secretary of state.

"I have read she has felt anger toward me personally, and I'm sorry for that", Comey writes of Clinton, according to ABC News. "My use of "extremely careless" naturally sounded to many ears like the statutory language-'grossly negligent'-even though thoughtful lawyers could see why it wasn't the same".
