PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds gets a blue zone tweak

Do you agree with the blue zone changes? This tweak will make players think of a strategy, tactically moving between the blue zone and the safe zone rather than hiding in the grass.

As part of this change there will be even less time to "linger between phases", and what's more is that the player's movement speed is reduced while in the blue zone, which now also moves more slowly towards the end of the game.

For those of you still to claim, know that signups kick off on Saturday 14 at 5am PST/1pm BST, and close at the same time on Tuesday 17.

The damage inflicted by 7th, 8th, and 9th blue zones has been increased.

As the end of the match approaches, the safe zone will increasingly favor areas with land over areas with water. The Erangel map will now show the first safe zone thirty seconds sooner, and the first safe zone on Miramar will be visible from the air. Oh, and clothing spawns are out now, too.

PUBG Corporation has also made some changes to Miramar, adding new areas and opportunities for high-tier loot in the northern portion of the map.

Most notable are the introduction of a lake in the north, the new village Alcantara in the northwest, and several new off-road paths in the northeast. You can be a bit bolder in this version, especially at lower levels when you're likely to encounter more bots than players, meaning you should focus on kills and getting the best loot early on.

If you are a team leader, you can now kick your team members.
