Bharti Airtel now offers Home broadband and fixed line services in 89 cities of India which is likely to increase in the coming months. For this, Airtel users need to install the Airtel TV app on your smartphone. However, unlike Jio and Airtel, the BSNL network is largely stuck on 3G speeds, and just Kerala circle subscribers get 4G speeds. On the other hand, BSNL is giving 3GB data per day under its Rs 248 plan, which the company has launched for the IPL season. Some of the cities where the plan is now available include Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The price appears to be the same across the board with Rs 2,199 monthly rental. Apart from this, customers will also get the free subscription to Wynk Music, Airtel TV and Amazon Prime. Airtel now uses the FTTH (Fiber-To-The-Home) technology to offer ultrahigh upload and download speeds to its customers. It is the second largest fixed broadband services provider in the country. However, those who want the 300 Mbps data connection will have to upgrade their plan.

Commenting on the launch, George Mathen, CEO - Homes, Bharti Airtel said, "Following the resounding success of our V-Fiber home broadband offering, we are delighted to introduce the new FTIH based plans for customers looking for higher speeds".
