During an event in Mumbai, India with Bollywood stars, Hillary Clinton was reportedly introduced as the "woman who should have been the president of the United States of America" and she told those gathered that America "did not deserve" President Trump.

"So I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward", Clinton said.

"Make America Great Again" was looking backwards. I just can't understand why her message wasn't more compelling in rural parts of America.

In addition, Clinton said President Trump ran "the first reality TV campaign", and was the first "reality TV candidate".

Clinton offered some rather unvarnished remarks in India this weekend that sound a lot like her "deplorables" commentary from September 2016.

Though Clinton won the popular vote by almost 3 million ballots, she lost in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin - three crucial states that cost her the election by about 80,000 votes, combined. "I win the coast, I win, you know, IL and Minnesota, places like that". She said she has no plans to do so. "You know, you didn't like black people getting rights; you don't like women, you know, getting jobs; you don't want to, you know, see that Indian American succeeding more than you are - you know, whatever your problem is, I'm gonna solve it".

"There will damage, but it will be repairable damage, and we will be doing that work starting next year with these elections", she said.

She made clear later in the discussion that she did not know where the special counsel's investigation into Russian election meddling and possible coordination with Trump's team is likely to lead.
