Apple Orders "Central Park" Series By "Bob's Burgers" Creators

It centers on a family of caretakers, who live and work in the NY park and end up saving the park- and the world.

A host of stage favorites will lend their voices to Central Park, Apple's first animated show to be announced as part of its upcoming rollout of original series. It is said to be a musical comedy and will be written by Bouchard, Josh Gad, and Nora Smith.

Central Park marks the first foray into streaming for 20th TV's animation department, and the first animated series optioned by Apple TV. It was originally eyed for Fox, which has been looking up to ramp up its animated offerings, recently ordering Lil Kev animated pilot presentation based on the comedy of Kevin Hart. The family ends up saving Central Park and the entire world.
