Apple has announced its Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will kick off June 4-8 in San Jose, again at the McEnery Convention Center, like previous year. Available in 155 countries across iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and iMessage, the App Store gives Apple customers access to millions of apps to make their lives easier, enrich their passions and connect with people around the globe.

As with previous years, Apple is relying on a lottery system to address demand for tickets. In addition to laying out a timeframe for when such apps would appear - reports suggest as soon as this fall - Apple could spend WWDC with app makers diving into how the new tools will work.

This is the second year that Apple will host WWDC at the McEnery Convention Center. Apple will then randomly select developers who can then purchase a ticket for $1,599.

The San Jose-based developer conference is nearly certainly where Apple will reveal next milestone software updates: iOS 12, MacOS 10.14, watchOS 5 and tvOS 12.

Occasionally the company also uses the event to announce hardware products. Still, last year's show not only included a preview of the HomePod speaker but also the unveiling of the iMac Pro.
