Google Contacts adds ability to send money via Google Pay Send

With video messages on Google Duo, users can now capture and share important moments, even when the receiver can't take the call.

Google rolled out an update past year which allowed the users to send money to Android messages using Google Wallet.

After they have watched their video message, users can tap the "Call now" button to easily call that person back.

" After a countdown that lasts for 3 seconds, record your message, and then tap to stop once you are done". That being said the "Request Money" option seems to be absent as of now, but the same was observed earlier in an apk teardown. All downloaded messages will be saved to your device.

Google has announced a new video message update for its video calling app Duo. Check your respective app store to grab the latest version so as to start video messaging through Duo. We noticed some strings in our teardown of the Google Contacts app last week that suggested the same addition would be coming soon, and it's now hit at least one reader in Canada. So it will be safe to say that presently this feature will only be available in Canada right now. The video calling app was announced along with Google's chat app Allo.
