Wide receiver Jarvis Landry was sent from Miami to Cleveland, and quarterback Tyrod Taylor was traded from the Bills to the Browns. With the Browns owning the number one and number four overall picks this draft, there were talks of Sam Darnold being selected as their next guy at quarterback. The trades come nearly a year to the day Cleveland's last regime made a "Moneyball" style trade for Brock Osweiler that might have indirectly paved the way for that franchise quarterback.

The Cleveland Browns might be the buzz of the National Football League world on the last Friday prior to free agency, but one of the teams they made a trade with is going to be making some news here shortly. Expect the Browns to make more bold moves in free agency and in that NFL Draft, too.

Back in Episode 8 of his outstanding Thomahawk podcast with ex-Browns wideout Andrew Hawkins, Thomas admitted he's keen on the three-year Bills starter.

-The Seattle Seahawks announced that they have released cornerback Richard Sherman, listing him with a failed physical designation. Sherman had surgery on his other Achilles tendon recently.

-The Philadelphia Eagles reached agreement to trade receiver Torrey Smith to the Carolina Panthers for cornerback Daryl Worley, according to multiple reports. Before the trades, Cleveland was $113 million under the salary cap and the team figures to remain busy next week.

Madrid always up their game in Champions League, says Kovacic
Spanish outlet Marca are now reporting that UEFA are keen to have a closer look at where the spending money is coming from. Since Qatar Sports Investments ( QSI ) took over in 2011, PSG have never reached the semi-finals of the Champions League .

Taylor has ranked Inside the top 15 (but outside the top 10) in each of the past three seasons in overall PFF grade - 86.0 (12th) in 2015, 83.2 (13th) in 2016, and 83.0 (14th) in 2017. He added 13 catches for 157 yards and a score in the postseason. McDermott gave Peterman a half to prove his worth and put on a legendary performance (6-14, 66 yards, five interceptions). Taylor is better than any quarterback on the roster now, and he's more proven than Bengals backup A.J. McCarron, who likely lands elsewhere now.

However, the team also said it would consider re-signing Jones as a nickelback and kick returner.

This is actually a pretty solid return for Taylor, especially given his contract situation. Trades can not be completed until then, but 10 deals have been agreed upon leaguewide this offseason. At 32, you have limited time left to play the game you love, so the role has to be exactly right for me.

Bills fans get ready, this offseason has just begun. Taylor or a first-round QB would be working with Barkley and Duke Johnson in the backfield and a group of receivers that includes Landry, Gordon, Corey Coleman and tight end David Njoku.
