Fable Fortune leaves Early Access and fully releases later this month

Collectible card game Fable Fortune is launching in full and leaving Early Access as of February 22, and it will make its debut as a full-fledged free-to-play title on Xbox One, Steam, and Windows 10. Discover how the iconic Alignment mechanic can be used to shift heroes towards a good or evil path during play; transforming their powers, altering their card effects, and turning the tide of battle in one chicken-kicking hand.

Over the last seven months in Early Access, Fable Fortune has flourished thanks to hard work and community feedback.

Fable Fortune has undergone a number of major changes since its Early Access debut, including the addition of a single-player mode called Heroic Tales and a new emote system that enables players to-among other things-fart at their opponents. The 1.0 update will feature a new number of stability and bug fixes, which will be detailed when the free-to-play release goes live. "There's never been a better time to return to Albion".

Like Hearthstone, Fable Fortune will be completely free to play, but players will be able to purchase card packs.

Developers Mediatonic and Flaming Fowl Studios, comprised of ex-Lionhead staffers, have spearheaded the release, which officially heads to PC and Xbox One on 22 February. Purchasing a Founder's Pack will net you 20 card packs, the Chicken Vengeant Founder's Card, and the Giant Egg Fabled Card.
