The Colts could have gone with defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick or guard Quenton Nelson here but Chubb feels like the best and safest pick at No. 3 overall.

Amid all the Kirk Cousins free agency chatter, ESPN NFL Draft analyst Todd McShay on Tuesday put out his second mock draft.

With the NFL season now over and the Philadelphia Eagles coming away with the Lombardi Trophy, it's time to look forward to the offseason, specifically the NFL Draft.

Cincinnati had a disappointing season, and the offensive line was a big reason why. Thanks to a great class of prospects this year, the Steelers front-office will have a good amount of guys to choose from. This group of players have proven themselves at the collegiate level, and are ready to make a name for themselves in professional football. This happens after three other quarterbacks go in the first five picks: the Browns get Sam Darnold, the Giants get Josh Rosen and the Broncos get Baker Mayfield.

Yes, it's a running theme - this is another landing spot for Cousins.

McShay sends Wyoming's Josh Allen to the Jets at No. 6. There are still concerns about his accuracy and ability to make multidimensional throws consistently, but all the tools are there.

New coach Pat Shurmur has publicly supported 37-year-old Eli Manning as New York's starting QB next season, so this pick remains the same as my last mock. In a tough market like New York, Rosen could prove to be the right quarterback to lead the team into the future. In his 2018 debut mock draft released in mid-December, McShay had the Lions selecting Virginia Tech OLB/DE Tremaine Edmunds.

After all that the Chicago Bears have invested in quarterback Mitch Trubisky, it only makes sense that the team makes surrounding him with more receiving talent a priority.

McShay sent the Bears Alabama WR Calvin Ridley at No. 8 overall.
