Bentley Is Going to Run a Bentayga at Pikes Peak

As you'd expect, the Bentayga Bentley will be heavily modified, and auto understands it'll be prepared by M-Sport Racing - the organisation behind the current Ford WRC vehicle.

Gush and his team at Bentley's motorsport division are now preparing a special Bentayga for the climb. It will gain a roll cage and other safety features required by regulations, but a spokesman told Autocar that it will remain "as close to production specification as possible".

This sounds like the Bentayga will retain much of its interior, meaning the vehicle will weigh at least 2440kg before the roll cage is added. Exact specifications will be revealed in March, when the driver is also announced.
