The New Jersey Department of Health says an global traveler with a confirmed case of measles arrived at Terminal C at Newark Airport on January 2, and departed for Indianapolis from a domestic terminal, officials say. A spokesperson of Mumbai Airport Private Limited said that the fire was brought under control "within no time" and that it did not impact flight operations or any of the passengers. But the airport or utility didn't immediately comment on whether the fire was caused in part by the weather. It confirmed there were no injuries and fire crews quickly extinguished the flames.

It is not clear whether the transformer fire is linked to these outages.
