Another blast of Arctic air on the way for Monday

The combination of snow and ice will result in hard travel conditions, potentially for both the morning and evening commutes.

Another shot of cold air will blow our tonight into Saturday but other than a random flurry or two, we should be snow-free. The advisory will remain in effect until 10 a.m. tomorrow. The wind will be from the north northwest at 10 to 13 miles per hour, gusting to 21 miles per hour. Low temperatures for Atlanta will drop into the low 20's Sunday morning, with wind chills in the teens.

A chance of rain and sleet before midnight, then a chance of freezing rain and sleet. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. North wind 3 to 7 miles per hour. Total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of around 2 inches.

Highs on Sunday will be in the low 40s. North northeast wind around 10 miles per hour.
