If you've got an Amazon Echo Device, you probably have used the digital assistant, Alexa to read you the weather. The Company's products include personal display and wearable computing devices that offer users a portable high-quality viewing experience, provide solutions for mobility, wearable displays and virtual and augmented reality. The company has launched the Alexa Mobile Accessory Kit to make its new development possible and ultimately broaden the reach of Alexa - taking on Google Assistant, Apple Siri, and Microsoft Cortana.

Alexa is Amazon's cloud-based voice service and we are excited to announce the Vuzix Blade will be Alexa-enabled so you can talk to Amazon Alexa on your Smart Sunglasses. These manufacturers have debuted brand new PC models that are created to work with Alexa at this week's International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. While there's no definite arrival date just yet, the company says current owners can expect a free firmware update to deliver Alexa controls in "early 2018".

According to a variety of reports coming out of CES 2018, Vuzix is adding Alexa into its Blade smart glasses which have been officially revealed at the gadget show and are apparently due to hit the market in the second quarter of this year for a cool $1,000. Studies have reported that the business of in-car infotainment is expected to reach over $30 billion by the year 2022.

As with HP, the Pavilion Wave will be the first to come designed specifically with offerings for voice interactions via Amazon Alexa. Google tried to commercialize this technology way back in 2012. In October, Sonos unveiled a smart speaker with Alexa's system for controlling music playback.
