There are suggestions on Friday night that Naby Keita will complete his move to Liverpool this weekend.

The deal that the Reds signed in August will see Keita join the club for £66.8 million if Leipzig can finish in the top four or £57.9 million if they fail to qualify for the Champions League again.

Recent reports suggested that Liverpool were looking into the prospect of bringing the move forward by five months, though, as they are keen to bolster their midfield ranks for the business end of the current season.

They are aware they will need to offer the German side more money - and they are willing to do so.

"Still no agreement between RB Leipzig and #LFC over Naby Keita potentially moving to Anfield this month", Pearce wrote.
