Ronaldo gives honest verdict on Neymar move from Nou Camp to PSG

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar made the headlines on Wednesday because of his celebration during a comfortable 2-0 victory over Amiens in the French League Cup quarter-finals.

But his compatriot Ronaldo believes it was a downward move in sporting terms.

Neymar has starred for PSG, scoring 20 goals in all competitions - 11 of those strikes in Ligue 1 - but in an interview with ex-Brazil worldwide Zico via YouTube, former Barca striker Ronaldo said: "Sportingly, the decision is a step back".

Neymar, 25, completed a world-record £198million move from Barcelona to the French capital last summer and has scored 20 goals in his opening 22 appearances for PSG.

In Madrid knew that to sign the Brazilian from Barcelona they did not succeed, but now Neymar belongs to the PSG that gives hope, "Creamy" on the successful completion of the transfer.

Ronaldo added that he would like to see Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus installed up front for Brazil.
