Rep. Schiff blasts Republicans for limiting Russian Federation investigation in US House

Echoing his Wednesday morning tweet, Trump decried what he is calling Robert Mueller's "witch hunt", also known as the investigation into Russian interference in the USA election and any possible collusion between Trump, the Trump team, and and Russia. "The witch hunt continues", Trump claimed. There was no collusion, everybody including the Dems knows there was no collusion, & yet on and on it goes.

While Trump suggested that congressional Republicans act more forcefully, he didn't say how.

"So my question to you is, are you laughing at the Russian investigation?" the reporter asked.

Trump tried to throw fuel on that disagreement, calling Feinstein "sneaky" in a tweet the next day and saying Republicans should regain control of the investigation.

The term "witch hunt" often evokes such dark chapters in USA history as the anti-communist hysteria of the 1950s or the literal witch hunts in 17th-century Salem, Massachusetts.

Schiff blamed the chairman of the House intelligence committee, Republican Rep. Devin Nunes, for the fact that the committee has interviewed "less than half of the number of witnesses" as the Senate intelligence committee, which is also conducting a Russian Federation probe, maintaining that "the chairman has a different agenda", PBS News Hour reported.

"Are you open to meeting with (special counsel Robert Mueller)?". "Must have tough Primary!"

49ers' Reuben Foster arrested on marijuana charge
Last March, Foster was dismissed from the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine after an altercation with medical staff. He was awarded NFL's Rookie of the Month for his efforts - 30 tackles - in the month of November.

"It has been determined that there is no collusion", Trump falsely stated, "and by virtually everybody", which is a total lie.

The transcript detailed a conversation between the co-founder of Fusion GPS, which commissioned the dossier, and congressional investigators.

In that testimony, Simpson said the former British intelligence who authored the dossier was so concerned about discovering Russia's possible attempts to blackmail Trump that he took his findings to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Christopher Steele, the British agent, later provided a "full debriefing" of his findings to a top Federal Bureau of Investigation official in September 2016 in Rome. That source is believed to be a Australian diplomat who had passed on information provided by former Trump campaign adviser George Papadopoulos.

Among the questions Schiff says the probe has not answered: whether the former Trump foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos - who pleaded guilty to lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation about his contacts over Russian Federation - had communications with the Trump campaign about those efforts. Before and since the tweet, Trump and his lawyers have said the President is not under investigation.

Steele drew upon a range of sources, including figures linked to Russian intelligence, to compile the dossier past year.

Trump then interjected with his own thoughts on the issue. Whether in public remarks or on Twitter, the President has repeatedly called the special counsel investigation led by former FBI Director Robert Mueller a "witch hunt", dismissing it as a frivolous investigation launched by his political enemies seeking to delegitimize his 2016 election victory.
