Pakistan Recall Ahmed Shehzad, Ignore Kamran Akmal For New Zealand T20 Series

Pakistan have recalled Ahmed Shehzad for the Twenty20 global series against New Zealand this month.

Imad Wasim will continue with his rehabilitation after a knee injury kept him out of the ongoing ODI series.

Pakistan will be without Imad Wasim's services for the T20Is against New Zealand.

The T20 series begins at Wellington on January 22.

Meanwhile, Shehzad, 26, retained his place in the side despite being dropped for the third and final Twenty20 against Sri Lanka in Lahore, his recent form being a factor.

Pakistan on Wednesday announced the 15-member squad for the Twenty20 series against New Zealand which starts on 22nd January.
