More than 200 local Girl Scouts will gather to build their cookie business plans, learn selling skills from leaders and each other, and team build around the 2018 sale.

The Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council in Houston, Texas, have made it possible to indulge while also giving back to Hurricane Harvey first responders through the organizations new Cookies-4-Heroes program.

There are eight varieties of cookies available this year, including Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Trefoils, Do-Si-Dos, Savannah Smiles, gluten-free Toffee-tastic and Girl Scout S'mores.

There's also an option to donate boxes of cookies to soldiers overseas something Melanie has done since she started selling cookies four years ago

Plus, for the second year, Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska is giving away a new vehicle.
